Black AdderTM is a stunning new flax in Garden Centres. It has fantastic dark purple foliage with a glossy sheen, making it an ideal choice against a cream wall or planted in light-coloured pots. The foliage has an elegant, upright habit with leaves becoming pendulous at the tips.
Phormium Black AdderTM grows to about 1m x 1m in well-drained soil. It performs best in morning sun and afternoon shade and needs to be watered deeply until well established.
